Rainbow Shots

          Rainbow Shots are an awesome party trick guaranteed to wow patrons and houseguests alike. The best part about them is that they aren't nearly as complicated as they seem. It does take some know how when it comes to layering the ingredients and pouring the shots but that comes with practice!

Ingredients

• 1 pt Grenadine
• 3 pts Sour Mix
• 3 pts Orange Juice
• 3 pts Vodka
• 1 splash Blue Curacoa

Method

             First, pour Grenadine into an empty shaker. Then gently fill with ice, you don't want the grenadine to splash. Afterwards, use a cocktail spoon to layer the sour mix, then the O.J. and finally the vodka on top of one another. This trick works on the oil and water principle, some liquids are heavier than others. Now you're ready to add the blue curacao and pour your shots. Make sure you have your shot glasses lined up because you'll need to pour as soon as you add the curacao. Add a splash of curacao to the rim and pour using a strainer. the curacao will sink quickly so you'll have to hurry! If done correctly, your shots should look something like the picture above.
